We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our client in Delano, CA. As an integral member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for various day-to-day financial tasks, data entry, reconciliation, and maintaining accurate records. Your meticulous approach and understanding of financial processes will contribute to the smooth functioning of our accounting operations.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Perform precise data entry across diverse accounting systems, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger Journals.
  • Maintain the filing requirements for the general office, ensuring orderly storage of vendor files related to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Reconcile a range of general ledger accounts to uphold financial accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify and validate the transactions and activities contributing to the current General Ledger balances.
  • Generate essential reports and fulfill various duties as required to meet accounting team needs.
  • Review purchase orders to uphold internal checks and balances.
  • Collaborate in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance accounting processes.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in payroll is essential for success in this role.
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain the integrity of financial data.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage records and files effectively.
  • Proficiency in utilizing accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Pay Rate/Shifts:

  • $16.00 /hr
  • Monday to Saturday
  • Shift hours may vary
