Our client, a large and well-known company in Oakland, CA is looking for a Warehouse Shipping Clerk to join their team. You will manage outbound freight routing, evaluating carrier performance and tariffs for cost-effective and reliable deliveries. You will earn $23.00/hour working Monday to Friday.

**This position is Temp-to-Hire**

Your Day:

• Routing outbound freight to assure delivery as required; monitors carriers performance and tariff charges and determines best carriers for the most cost-effective and reliable delivery within established standards.
• Maintains shipping and receiving logs and maintains files of shipping records. Processes loss freight or shipping damages claims. Verifies freight bills with accounting and resolves errors with carriers.
• Receives and inspects external packaging of all incoming shipments.
• Notifies delivery personnel of any apparent shipping damage and proceeds accordingly.
• Receives and process returned goods shipments; completes and forwards return goods authorization (RGA) paperwork. Routes service/repair shipments to Customer Service.

About You:

• Minimum 3 years’ Experience in Shipping/Receiving
• Experience International/ Domestic Shipping
• Experience in Shipping quotes
• Pacejet preferable (will train the right candidate)
• Experience in LTL Shipments and BOL's
• Experience with stand-up Forklift

Pay Rate & Shift:

• Monday - Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• $23.00/hour
