Our client in the heart of New York City is seeking a talented Assistant Project Manager to contribute to their mission-driven organization. In this role, your primary responsibilities include reviewing applicant files, conducting background checks, compiling documentation, collaborating with team members, supporting leasing activities, and reporting to the Deputy Director.

Your Day:

  • Review applicant files; follow up with applicants to obtain required paperwork, process all the requires verification and run credit and criminal background checks to determine applicant eligibility
  • Compile applicant files for internal and external review and approval
  • Work collaboratively with Assistant Project Managers and Administrative
  • Assist on leasing activities including Scheduling unit showings; lease signings and unit inspections
  • Report to Deputy Director

About You:

  • High Level of Proficiency in Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Comparable work experience in Non Profit; housing, property management, Section 8
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese Mandarin
  • Notary a plus

Pay and Shift:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30 AM - 5 :00 PM
  • $23.00
