Our client, a manufacturing company in Carlstadt, NJ is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team. You will be providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office including answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors. Monday to Friday 1st Shift paying $18.00/hour.
- Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
- Schedule and coordinate staff and other meetings
- Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence
- Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents
- Answering customer questions, providing information, taking and processing orders and addressing complaints
- Compiling, maintaining and updating company records
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience in a secretarial role
- Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability
- Ability to prepare stock inventory and process office bills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good customer service skills and ability to work well with others
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel)
- Prior administrative experience
- Excellent computer skills, especially typing.
- Bilingual is required.
