Server/Network Technicians (Operations)

Our client, a large company in the data center industry in Hillsboro, OR is looking to hire Server/Network Technicians (Operations). You will be providing support for Hardware Troubleshooting and repairing network devices. Candidate should be able to provide proof of Covid-19 Vaccine at the time of joining.

Your Day:

• Hardware Troubleshooting Support

• Support hardware faults and customer requests

• Managing assigned issues and working based on priority level

• Using web-based tools for managing and locating hardware in data center suites and storage rooms

• Being able to identify a variety of server components and their functions Add/remove server components. (NVMe, SSD, HDD, DIMM, NIC, RAID cards)

• Replace server hardware components

• Perform BIOS, Firmware and iDrag updates in Co-ordination with remote support teams

• Troubleshoot and repair network devices experiencing issues or failures while coordinating with Network Reliability Engineering (NRE)

• Interfacing with internal customers to coordinate troubleshooting and downtime in a professional manner

About You:

• Proof of Covid-19 Vaccine at the time of joining

• The ability to work closely to a deadline

• The ability to work independently on projects as well as part of a team

• A logical approach to server repairs

Pay Rate and Shift

• $26.00 to $30.00

• Monday to Friday

• 8AM-5 PM (Onsite) 5PM- 8 AM (On call)
