Our client, a leading avocado distributor, is looking for a Forklift Operator in Swedesboro, NJ to join their team. In this role, you will be moving freight, stock, and other materials from their storage facility to their production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers.

Your Day:

- Conduct required quality inspections and communicate reports daily

- Complete customer orders according to Pick Tickets

- Ensure all outbound fruit is properly marked prior to shipment

- Conduct fruit inspection using the departments Quality App on every order

- Coordinate labor about conditioning inbound fruit and loading ripening rooms

- Perform daily inspections for ripened fruit to meet customer specification

- Coordinate labor for staging of fruit to be outturned, ensure that fruit is outturned timely for order assembly

- Perform daily inventory management and reconcile as needed with third party

- Maintain a documented sanitation preventative maintenance program to ensure ripening rooms are running efficiently

- Perform work outside of normal job description as assigned by the Ripening Manager or Ripening Lead. Additional duties as assigned

- Will follow all company policy and procedures

About You:

- 1-2 years of forklift experience

- High school or GED

- Ability to communicate through various formats including phone and email

- Understand color progression during ripening process

- Understand all stages of ripening levels regarding pressure of fruit

- Experience working in a warehouse environment preferred

Hours and Compensation:

- $19.00

- Monday - Friday

- 8:00AM - 4:30PM
