Procurement Manager
Our client, a very well-known manufacturing company in Pennsauken, NJ is looking for a talented Procurement Manager to join their Operations team. As the Procurement manager, you will be responsible for integrating business needs into relevant procurement strategies in alignment with HQ Global procurement. You will work closely with global procurement teams. You will earn $125k a year!
Your Day:
- Develop, manage, and prioritize the procurement activities and engage with cross functional business partners to deliver against strategies
- Be the first point of contact for the procurement function in your market and for business stakeholders as well as global category teams
- Understand and translate strategies and priorities into requirements ensuring that the information is provided to all levels of leadership
- Integrate the needs of the business into procurement strategies considering market evolution and specificities
- Negotiate, examine, evaluate, and challenge both new and existing contracts with vendors to achieve cost reduction and remain in compliance with business requirements
- Implement global procurement policy, governance, and controls according to Global Procurement guidelines
About You:
- University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain or other related degree
- Minimum 5 – 7 years of procurement experience
- Logistics procurement knowledge, Familiarity with 3PL activity – advantage
- Able to effectively engage cross functional global teams
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization
Pay Rate and Shift:
- Monday to Friday
- $125k
