Warehouse Associate

Our client, a stocking industrial distributor in Cranbury, NJ is looking for a responsible Shipping/Receiving Clerk. The candidate will inspect and record shipments with raw materials or products, and be responsible for unloading packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the orders. This job is Monday to Friday and pays $19.00 per hour

Your Day:

• Receives goods and verifies the quality and count of all items offloaded from LTL, UPS and Fed Ex deliveries.
• Checks deliveries against supplier's count, Bill of Lading and packing slip and inspects for any damage
• Open boxes and break down skids to verify that material matches supplier paperwork 
• Using RF system, receives in material, stages and put away within warehouse
• Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries
• Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control

About You:

• Experience as receiving/shipping clerk or similar position is preferred 
• Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
• Excellent organizational skills
• Great communication and interpersonal abilities
• Keen eye for detail
• Good physical condition

Pay Rate & Shift:

• Monday to Friday (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
• $19.00
