Assembler

Our client, a company that specializes in custom design and fabrication, is looking to hire a skilled Assembler (Craft) for their location in Irvine, CA. In this role, you would be responsible for designing, producing, and testing wood products. You will use your hands or machines to do the job with greater precision.

Compensation & Work Schedule: $19.00 /hr, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 AM

The Day-to-Day:

• Build furniture using hand tools.
• Cut, shape, and smooth wooden parts.
• .Add fasteners and adhesives and connect the pieces to form a complete unit.
• Sand products using a sander or sandpaper and set products out to dry
• Thorough cleaning of your station and all tools/equipment used at the end of each day

Qualifications:

• Woodwork and installation skills.
• Close attention to detail, capable of performing basic mathematics.
• Able to operate a variety of hand tools and read and interpret blueprints.
• The ability to move and lift more than 35 pounds.
