Machine Operator

Our client, a leading consumer products company, seeks a motivated and experienced Machine Operator to join their team in Sarasota, FL. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating converting machines and other equipment to produce high-quality adhesive bandages and pads; meeting established productivity requirements and regulatory standards.

Your Day 

• Operate converting machines and other equipment to produce adhesive bandages and pads.
• Ensure product quality and customer requirements are met, including FDA, MDD, and other regulatory standards.
• Maintain production records and documentation
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues and improve processes.
• Continuously monitor production to identify and resolve any potential quality or productivity issues.

About You

• Strong hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to read, write, and understand basic English
• Good mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to stand for an entire shift (8 to 12 hours) and perform physical tasks (lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, stooping, kneeling, bending, grasping)
• Good vision (close, distance, and color)
• Ability to report to work on time and a consistent and regular basis
• Bilingual Spanish/English (preferred)

Salary: $11.00 to $15.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with three shifts available (7:00 am - 3:00 pm, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm, 4:00 pm - 2:00 am)
