Assembler

Our client, a company that specializes in automation is looking to hire an Assembler for their location in Smyrna, TN. In this position, you would be responsible for reading drawings and working with electrical equipment. Compensation for this position starts at $21.45 /hr working Monday to Friday. No weekends.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Reading drawings and working with electrical equipment
• Working with various tools including manual/electric/pneumatic tools, fork truck (including stand-up)
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, squat, reach to or below shoulder level, lift, carry, push, pull, and use hands to handle and feel.
• The employee is frequently required to climb and reach above shoulder level

Qualifications:

• Good understanding of blueprints/schematics and wiring experience
• Experience in reading drawings and working with electrical equipment
• Experience using various tools including manual/electric/pneumatic tools, fork truck (including stand-up), jib crane, templates/fixtures, hand carts, measuring devices, and prescribed safety equipment
• Must have the ability to lift, push or pull up to 40 lbs

Pay Rate/Shifts:

• $21.45 /hr
• Monday to Friday
• 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• No weekends
