Dispatcher

Do you have the ability to develop relationships with customers and drivers? If so, our client, a large logistics company is looking for a Dispatcher to join their team in Middletown, CT. You will monitor to ensure all routes are covered, driver check-in is complete and communicate to the customer, and routes run on time.

Your Day:

• Create, Monitor and communicate route changes to Dispatch department and drivers
• Monitor Dispatch board to ensure customer specifications are met
• Ensure compliance with log in process and ec-mobile compliance
• Inspect vehicles to ensure customer specifications
• when necessary will reroute or run routes to ensure time execution
• Assist with contracting additional drivers
• Complete daily service reports as required by customers
• Ensure all driver's paperwork is completed
• Monitor to ensure all drivers are in uniform with visible ID badge

Qualifications:

• Basic MS Office
• Must have valid drivers license
• Ability to develop relationships with Customers and drivers
• Ability to work overtime

Pay and Shift:

• Monday to Friday
• 11:30 AM to finish
• $18.00
