Warehouse Packers

Lyneer Staffing Solutions is looking for Warehouse Packers for clients in the Logistics and distribution industry, located in Chandler/Ahwatukee, AZ. In this position, you would be responsible for ensuring products are shipped quickly and safely. Packers must also be able to seal each container, use hand tools and adhesives to protect the package from harm during transportation, and observe all company safety standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment, and you will be responsible for the well-being and accuracy of items received in the warehouse or shipped to our customers.

Compensation & Work Schedule: $16.00 /hr, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

The Day-to-Day:

• Pack, weigh and label completed items for shipment or storage
• Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging to ensure items arrive at their destination
• Identify and dispose of defective items before they are shipped to customers
• Properly use packaging materials glues, padding, etc.
• Counting and scanning product
• Keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven work experience as a Packer within a warehouse
• Previous experience using scanning devices.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members.
