Maintenance Mechanic

Our client manufactures HDPE bottles, PET bottles & plastic closures for pharmaceutical, wellness, and lifestyle products in Phoenix, AZ and it is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. You will be responsible for assuring the accurate, complete, timely, safe, and efficient setup and ongoing operational performance of all lining equipment on which they perform their duties. You will be earning $23.00 an hour.

*This is a Direct hire position*

Your Day:

• Correctly and efficiently pull and replace all punches and dies as necessary.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all Lining Tools checking for wear, binding, unusual noises and other problems and performing all necessary cleaning, greasing and polishing operations.
• Correctly adjust the speed levels of all lining equipment and adjust the bowl feeder and cap hoppers in order to maintain maximum productivity consistent with quality standards and safe operation.

About You:

• Broad theoretical and practical knowledge of pneumatics, electronics and computer controls to effectively set up, trouble shoot and maximize efficiency of operations of all lining equipment.
• Good mathematical skills to perform shop calculations, to include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to read and interpret cap drawings and blueprints, and effectively utilize them in performing job duties, as well as in determining whether the product meets quality standards.

• Monday - Friday
• 1st shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
