Manufacturing Associate

Our client, a manufacturing company that focuses on production and productivity, is looking to hire a Manufacturing Associate for their location in Tempe, AZ. The ideal candidate would be responsible for loading preprints into machine hoppers, and notifying the operator of problems, such as misses or doubles due to mechanical malfunction.

Compensation & Hrs: $15.00 /hr, Thursday to Sunday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM

The Day-to-Day:

• Preparing materials for production, monitoring inventory levels, operating manufacturing equipment, and conducting basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Catch bundles, verify carrier route break by the bundle, and write carrier route information on the mailing container load tag.
• Inspect the quality of the label to ensure that the printer is functioning correctly
• Compare the insert version with the specifications on the work order to verify delivery of specified paper stock. Strap and stack bundles neatly on pallets or carts

Qualifications:

• Must be able to stand for a full 10 hr. shift
• Able to lift 25 - 30 lbs.
• 2 to 3 months experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
