Purchasing Manager
Our client, a company that specializes in electronic manufacturing is looking to hire a Purchasing Manager in their location in Baltimore, MD. In this role, you would be responsible for purchasing electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, switches, and semiconductors, ICs based on customers’ bill of material. Compensation for this position ranges between $20.00 to $22.00 /hr working Monday to Friday.
Your Day to Day:
- Purchasing mechanical assemblies such as sheet metal, chassis components based on customer drawings
- Issue, expedite and follow-up Purchase orders with all vendors
- Compile spreadsheets to send to vendors for quotation
- Maintain good records for traceability. Report on purchase orders and track shipments as required
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 2 years in the purchasing field
- A good understanding of electronic components, thru-hole, SMT etc.
- Ability to work with our ERP system to enter all transactions required to complete the purchasing process.
Pay Rate/Shifts:
- $20.00 to $22.00 /hr
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
